A clean airplane is a happy airplane; from the inside out. An aircraft that is washed and waxed on a regular basis will indeed perform better. Dust, pollen, air pollutants and salinity in the air accumulates on the aircraft and in the cabin. This leads to premature failure and additional maintenance expenses.
